e-Assam” initiative as a digital knowledge best practices network programme is initiated by North East Development Foundation, Digital Empowerment Foundation supported by the Open Knowledge Community (A knowledge platform of UNESCO in India & Department of IT & Electronics & IT, GoI) & UNESCO. It is launched to address the larger issue of lack of information, knowledge sharing and best practices network for sustainable and innovative solutions through digital means and tools in vital areas of citizen services, health, education, livelihood, skill development, connectivity & access and development relevant for Assam.
